I’m going to go straight to the point here. I LOVE JUNSU OF 2PM. He’s a walking hunk of sexy Daegu accent speaking swag. I have such an odd but strong affection for him. When a friend got me into 2PM back in 2009, I didn’t get their charm just by watching their music videos. After watching Wild Bunny though (through endless bugging), I fell in love with them completely.
I have to say Junsu wasn’t my first bias in the group back then - Chansung was. Junsu was actually the last person I thought of being my bias. I thought he was the oddball in the group. You know, the weakest in the litter of puppies. But after months of immersing myself in the 2PM fandom I got his appeal and virtually punched myself in the gut for even saying he pulled off the concept the best in Heartbeat because he looked well indeed dead among the others.
But now the tables have turned and I really love Junsu or Jun.K as he’d like to be called. After 7 years of being with JYPE, he finally got his solo debut! 3 years ago, he performed HOT in one of their fan gatherings and we all hoped that HOT will launch his solo career. But after years of waiting for HOT to be released, I’d have to say I was greatly disappointed by the fact that they released it in the Hands Up album as a group song. Geez. :\ What a bummer. But now he has finally come to conquer us all by releasing Alive.
I mean, look at that! It steers clear from the usual image of 2PM. He makes the music and even creatively directs what he wants for the the overall concept. He even raps in it! It’s as if he’s showing us “Hey! It’s Jun.K! Surprise! I can compose,sing, and rap! Y’all can’t do nothing bout that just check out my swag, chyeah!” to let us see who he really is apart from being a member of 2PM.
Before I end this post I’d like to make up for all the bullying I did to him when I first got into the fandom by enumerating 5 reasons why you can’t not love Jun2daKAY.
1) The guy’s got mad style. I don’t care if you guys say it’s because he’s a friend of G-dragon, but the guy is a walking designer whore. I love that about him. He’s the only guy I know who can sport a sparkly sequined man purse and get away with it.
I can’t say the same thing though for his fashion choices back when he was younger. But of course we were all young and stupid once and we made some fashion fiascos ourselves.

2) Collarbones so sharp that they can cut glass. I bet if I swipe my finger on those bad boys, I’d get one nasty deep cut. Who cares about gettin cut, I’d gladly choose his collarbones over my bed anytime. I can practically live in them.
3) His Satoori gets all the girls. Admit it. That Daegu boy got you charmed by his provincial tongue. I don’t know about you, but I like my boys who speak with a lot of attitude and swag. Y’all thinking Daegu accent ain’t swag? Psh. Girl you don’t know what you’re talking about.

4) That soulful, deep, sweet as honey, and as smooth as silk voice. Daaaangggg~~ Can’t get anymore accurate than that. If Jun.K was to sing for his mating call, I bet all the girls and the boys would be enticed by it. Hell if he was to chant for himself, I bet he’d tap himself too.
5) He’s a cheater. No I don’t mean cheater by cheating on his girl. But he’s known to try and get away from things such as challenges or punishments. I know it’s not the most desirable trait out there but I just find his way making of excuses, tricking people, and being overall sneaky really cute, you know what I’m sayin? You don’t? Why aren’t why watching 2PM Show? Tsk tsk tsk… But if you need more proof on this, ask 2AM’s Jokwon. He should know. They have been trainees the longest in JYPE and he seems to know Junsu’s ways. lol
